The Wordsley School organised a 3-day event of
which the students will subconsciously learn about teamwork,
geography, mathematics, art and much more through a whole range
of fun activities. Death Match-Played
with the same rules as Top Trumps, the students have to win
their battles to survive through natural disasters.
The last one standing wins! Jeepers Creepers-A
rainforest expert gives a talk on life in the rainforest, the
kind of creatures you'll encounter and brings in a live
Scorpion, Tarantula and Giant Stick Insects. Reach
For The Stars-Students design a rocket to blast into
space and launch it on a hydraulic machine. Let's
Pretend-After a small talk about evolution and
adaptation, students will make a butterfly out of clay and paint
its beautiful body. And finally Monkey Business-Students
learn about deforestation and design posters to stop the
manufacturing of palm oil, a commonly used ingredient in
chocolate and used solely for it's cheapness, and the possible
eradication of the primates.

NEWS: GLOBAL WARMING

Expressive Arts Productions are supporting the
Global Warming campaign by doing our bit for the environment.
We believe that every small action will make a difference.
We do not want our future generations to deal with the
consequences of our mistakes when we can do something about it
now. Scientists predict that in approximately 30 years
from now, the Arctic will be ice-free. This is among a
handful of devastating consequences of Global Warming. Do
your bit and donate to the Stop Global Warming Virtual March.
