3-Day Film Course
Expressive Arts Productions are pleased to provide an exciting Film Course to Secondary Schools.
Over the three days, a selected class of pupils will learn fundamental aspects of pre-production before calling ‘Action!’ on their own short film.
They will research a social-realist subject chosen by the pupils such as underage drinking or bullying. The morals are usually simple and easily defined like ‘say no to alcohol’ and ‘treat people the way you want to be treated’. After 2 days of pre-production, the class will go into production with our team taking charge of the filming. One week later, our team will return with the edited films and present them to the pupils with a certificate of completion.
At the end of the Film Course each pupil will receive a copy of their film along with a certificate. Futhermore, their films will be screened to the whole class, year group or school. To add a bit of Hollywood glamour to the course, our team will host a short awards ceremony where we pick the best film. The winning group will receive a special ‘Best Film’ Award and give a short speech on their experience. The school will also be supplied with the students’ films on disc to share with the rest of the school.
