Two Peas in the Philippines
Two Peas in the Philippines is a 13-part travel documentary series developed by Expressive Arts Productions Ltd. Blending humour with cultural insight, the series explores the food, music, traditions and everyday life of the Philippines through the eyes of two curious foreign hosts.
After first discovering Filipino culture online, Shay and Dan quickly became fascinated by the energy, warmth and diversity of the country. That curiosity has since taken them across the Philippines, diving into everything from street food and local traditions to music, sport and community life.
In each episode, guided by local voices and experts, they immerse themselves in hands-on experiences, whether that’s learning traditional cooking, stepping into the world of Filipino music, or exploring the environments that shape everyday life.
What they lack in expertise, they make up for with humour, openness and a genuine respect for the culture, often finding more than they expected along the way.
